Crochet All the Way

Hello reader, my name is Rose. Thank you for coming to my crochet blog. I hope that you feel welcome and decide to stick around. My goal is to show you that crochet isn’t just an old lady thing. It can be your thing too.

My crochet story started with my great grandma. When I was a little girl, I visited her every week. She was one of my biggest cheer leaders when I was growing up. She taught me countless lessons about living life, but she also taught me how to crochet. When I first started crocheting, she told me stories about how her grandma had taught her when she was a girl. Her grandma insisted on perfection. If she made even one mistake, her grandma would tear out the whole project. My great grandma taught me the exact same way. She was never satisfied with what I made until there were no mistakes in my work. At first it frustrated me, but it made me stronger. After a while, I began to love crochet. It became my outlet where I could create something beautiful and work through problems while staying busy.

I believe that excellence is to be demonstrated in all areas of life, not just crochet. I believe this because of my view of Christ and the gospel. Christ gave His life for us. He was the perfect, sinless man who set an example for us. He wants our hearts and lives in return. I know that the coronavirus has many thinking about life and death. Christ offers hope.
